CO. , however, the inscription given by Vaglieri, NS. 1910, pp. 104 ft. , which records the erection, apparently at Rome, of a statue dedicated to Urbs at the expense of the inhabitants of Ostia. The statue was set up by Ragonius Vineentius Celsus v. c. praefectus annonae urbis Roniae. Cf. Wissowa, Religion mid Kultus, p. 341, n. 1. 301, 332, 341 and p. 5. Beurlier, Le culte imp6rial, Paris, 1891, pp. 108-172, seems to believe that the simple flamines were priests of the reigning emperor. often municipal magistrates, and sometimes Roman knights (353, 390).
