The clean tan cloth boards contrast beautifully with the bright gilt whale design on cover and lettering on spine. Binding a bit loose but intact, and corners are sharp. Mild scratching on fore-edge. Front free endpaper bears customary library identifiers; all other pages are sunned but clean, with no marking or highlighting.
