Now a major motion picture. Obama's childhood in Indonesia has been engraved deeply into his friends' memory. Outstanding and unique, Barry brought himself into various funny, weird, yet touching experiences. Being different, he tried hard to adjust to his new neighborhood and do well in school. However, still, he sometimes got bullied. Luckily, there were Slamet and Yuniadi, his neighbors who kept him company. They became a solid team despite their own childlike disputes. Their friendship was strengthened through badminton, ping-pong, and monopoly games, and glued when they had to face the same opponents together: the tough kids, in a soccer match. Finally, after making it through these hardships, Barry was accepted by his friends. He even became an idol on the basketball field. This novel gives inspiration for those who are different and feel lonely in society. Who knows, because of your uniqueness, someday, you may also become a president. Inspired by stories of Barack Obama's friends, teachers, and families in Jakarta.

Coming Soon in Motion Picture. Kemala is a beautiful and innocent orphaned medical school student, who comes from the suburbs of West Java, and was raised in a mix of love and heartache by her mother's friend. Longing for God to fulfill the emptiness inside of her, she is introduced by Rafa, her best friend at school, to an organization who later leads them both into making an oath, solely and faithfully to the group. They are led to believe that the blood of people outside their group is halal and therefore, they are permitted to rob and harm these people accordingly. Kemala is soon entrapped in a situation leading her into a deadly web of terrorism, as she is brained-washed in a remote area. She begins to embrace the belief that all non-Muslim people are profaner (kafir), especially those who come from Western countries. She becomes so wrapped within the teachings she has been following, that she becomes militant willingly ready to give up her life for the cause of what she believed in. Prakasa, a special anti-terror agent, is a skeptical, cynical, and cold hearted man who never falls in love due to his childhood of hardship, that is until he must confront Kemala during an undercover mission, he starts to struggle with his own feelings, and finally has to make the ultimate decision, between life and death.

Synopsis: The novel For God’s Sake, I’m a Terrorist by Damien Demantra is a story about someone whose is seeking truth, instead he is twisted by a number of individuals who speak in the name of religion. Kemala character is a medical school student who is pretty, young and easily trusts people. In her longing to seek God, she joins a prayer group and is asked to vow her loyalty to an organisation. She experiences trauma and is shocked with the existing bitter truth, Kemala slowly starts to believe the view that the right country is a country based on religious sharia law. She even believes that non-Moslem people’s treatments are heathenish, especially those who originate from western countries. The change in Kemala is the result of mature formulation to thicken her belief. Kemala is then willing to be a terrorist for her twisted belief, and in her understanding, what she is doing is because of God. In a mission, she is then assigned undercover as a dancer to blow up a café named Bistro America. Meanwhile, Prakasa, is a special intelligent handling terrorism, is cold, apathetic, and has never felt love. He is assigned to eradicate terrorism. Prakasa’s team suspects Kemala as a terrorist, that Prakasa goes undercover as the night club customer who will ‘hire’ Kemala. But what happens next is unexpected: they fall in love. They fight within themselves to not like each other, but the force of love continues to badger, till they both must decide between life and death. A choice that has to be made when Kemala who is wrapped with bombs must detonate herself in front of Prakasa, a man she loves. Fortunately Prakasa does the right thing at that critical moment. He shoots Kemala’s hand that the remote detonator is successfully thrown away, and the bomb does not destroy the café. Kemala finally realises that her understanding has been twisted all this time and she has been used for the interest of a certain group of people who speaks in the name of Islam. After serving her punishment in jail, Kemala and Prakasa unite. Kemala is increasingly convinced that Islam is in fact a religion that brings peace to this world.
