The Act applies to all goods and services unless specifically exempte, and covers the private, and co-operative sectors and provides for speedy and inexpensive adjudication. 'ii) The right to be informed about the quality, quantity, potency, purity, standard and price of goods and services, as the case may be, to protect the consumer against unfair trade practices. 'iii) The right to be assured of access to a variety of goods and services at competitive prices. (iv) The right to be heard and assured that consumer interest will receive due consideration at appropriate fora. (v) The right to seek redressal against unfair or restrictive trade practices or unscrupulous exploitation of consumers. (vi) The right to consumer education.
