As far as, physical factors were concerned, it was noted that 222C for in vitro growth of Solanum nigrum was used. It was also observed that the micropropagation of Solanum nigrum in liquid medium gave only 5 in vitro growth. Whereas, solidified medium (using Difco-Bacto agar as Solidifying agent) gave 80 in vitro growth for the plant. The effect of different photoperiods was also observed with 16hrs photoperiod (3000 lux) in in vitro micropropagation of Solanum nigrum.
