Finally in order to increase the productivity of the rolling mill three different options of roll passes were designed. In order to predict its thermo-mechanical effect a specialized metal forming finite element software (DEFORM 3D) was used. The result of each option is compared based on simulation results to choose the best one for implementation and relevant recommendation has been made. 180 pp. Englisch.
