The Contributors are: Professor Tony Ridley, President of the Institution of Civil Engineers ('Civil Engineering Diversity'); Alex Browne, Secretary of State for Labour in Sierra Leone ('Meeting The Needs of Tomorrow in the Developing World'); Arthur Penman, consulting geotechnical engineer ('Fifty Years of Development in Geotechnical Engineering'); Brian Clancy, Senior Vice-President of the Institution of Structural Engineers ('The Future of Structural Engineering'); Professor Brian Wilkinson, Director of the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology ('Water Resources - Past, Present, Future'); and Professor Warren Pescod, Head of Department ('Meeting the Needs of Tomorrow at Newcastle').
