I can still remember those dentures. But that's not the point of this book, or my own life of conquest. It's not how much, or how weird, or how intense, but how to fit into each person's sexual orientation. I've always been the chameleon who chooses from the existing menu more than imposing my own rules or desires. (The opposite of my Kung Fu life where I run my school like the General of an army!) This poetry doesn't seem as nasty to me now as it did in the 1970s.During the 1970s, I was developing my music writing and song writing mostly. Poetry was a hobby for myself. My lyric writing became a higher priority than the poetry. So my poetry became lyrical, and my lyrics became poetic. Most of my poems are just a couple verses and a chorus. In that limited space of lines, I sought to tell my stories and express my feelings. I often did not know that a poem would become a song lyric. Sometimes the lyrics I wrote, never became a song - thus remaining poetry. I just write what's in my mind, or heart, or soul. This lyric writing abbreviated my poetic style. Just last year, 2011, I started writing epic poems. Wow! I wrote three poems, each over 10,000 words each. This book, Spring Fevers, was my escape from the confines of lyrics and an escape beyond my sexual moralities. This self-indulgent trip into an adult world of sex, was seeking to understand all the different po.
