Teams from Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg and Fort William competed on the league principle. Norwood Wanderers, of Winnipeg, took first place with four points, Montreal next with three points. Fort William three and Toronto two points. At the annual meeting of the Dominion of Canada Football Association, held at the same place and date, several important changes were made in the D. F. A. rules. Professional clubs may now secure membership in the D. F. A. ; professionals may secure reinstatement to the amateur ranks by application to the D. F. A. , and amateur teams representing the D. F. A. can meet professional teams from other countries, according to the new D. F. A. constitution. Owing to the illness of Mr. Fred A. Barter, president of the Dominion Football Association at Montreal, coupled with some misunderstanding in Manitoba as to which club is entitled to be regarded as c. . .
