I admit that all Sir Augustuss pantomimes have been magnificent. I do not admit that all of them have been what, for want of a better expression, one may call a good show. Iast years pantomime, for instance, was, to my mind, spectacle apart, insufferably dull and stupid; and, as the song says, there have been ethers. m I insist on this brief preface because I dont want you. . .
