Amen.--to hint, if the Doxologybe ascribed to the three Persons before mentioned,.1 it is corroborating Proof of their Oneness, three yet One: if it be confined as having reserence only to the last, it makes for the Divinity of Jesus Christ with all the Force one could desire or with, for herein the Son i; honoured as the Father, for what more can we ascribe to the Supreme, than Glory and Dominion, or what Duration can be longer than Ever and Ever i Nor is this the only Passage in this divine Book where the highest Worship is equally paid to the Father and the Son; for could we possibly suppose that John spake not this by the Spirit of God, but as a mere Man in Extaly, or as our Moderns would rather call it in a Fit of Enthusiasm; I say could we suppose this, yet we meet wi;h an Objection more difficult and insuperable in Chap. v. i0, ii, i2, &C where "John heard the Voice of many Angels rcund about the Throne, and the Beasts, (spoken of in the preceding Chap.) and the Elders, and the Number of them 'was ten thoufand times ten thoufand, and thousands of thoufands; and yet this innumerable Company had but one Voice (as it were) and did persectly accord in tha same heavenly Employment,---faying with a hud Voice, worthy is the Lamb that vjas fain, (viz. Jesus Christ) to receive Powcr and Rich.s, and IVijdom, and Strength, and Honour, and Glory, and Blesiing. And it is worthy to be regarded, that the same Honour, Glory, Power, Sec. that is here ascribed to the Lamb, is in the preceding Chapter, in that most elevated, exalted, and extatic Act of divine Adoration, (the very Reading of which can hardly sail of awakening in us the Spirit of Devotion); I say in that Act of Worstiip the same Horur, Glory, and Power is ascribed faying, Holy, Hc!f, H...
