This book is a two fold publication with the first half of the book written from the original Civil Aviation Administration's (C.A.A.) Civil Pilot Training Manual from the 1930'S. This section of the book is for primary flight training and takes the student, and instructor, from lesson one through lesson six to solo. It explains, in non-complicated form, how to make excellent landings and other basic piloting skills to improve safety, skill, and accuracy, and to be "at one" with the airplane. These techniques have been proven and applied to today's pilots and airplanes with successful results. There is a section in each chapter for the flight instructor, "To The Instructor," explaining common errors and things to look for while teaching the art of flying an airplane. The second section of this book is aviation poetry. Some of this material has been published on the back cover of Sport Aerobatics magazine. Sport Aviation, Aviation Historian and Ballooning magazine have also published some of this aviation poetry. The Beacon, a Daytona Beach, Florida newspaper, has published several of these poems in their "Poetry Corner.", Paperback, Label: R. Mixon, R.
