A detailed history of the early days of the village of Larchmont, NY located in Westchester County, a suburban bedroom community located north of New York City from even before it was founded in the 1600's, through 1892. Written by the Larchmont Village Historian and founding President of the Larchmont Historical Society. Illustrated in b/w, with vintage photographs, drawings and maps. Measures 8.5" x 11" with 142 pages. Two corners and edges are a bit frayed, but the contents is clean and free of any marks. Comes with a letter from the Larchmont Historical Society from 1991 (on their letterhead) indicating that the village of Larchmont is celebrating its Centennial on September 28, 1991, and soliciting recollections from those who have lived in the village.
