The author's mother came to Genoa Bay Farm, British Columbia, first in 1956. It is in a secluded section of West Coast waters just off Samsun Narrows. These 83 pages of reminiscences, and archival photos, give a look at the neighbours and the neighbourhood - beginning in 1858. Very anecdotal in style. Front cover graphic is of the Irish-built ship the E.R. Sterling.
