The majority of people who can afford 'live in care' are wealthy and therefore live in beautiful homes in idyllic locations. Your ability to earn a substantial income is indeed a powerful reason to do this. It also offers a safe platform to think about future ventures. Perhaps start an online business, study towards a degree, learn a new language, or simply to investigate new opportunities you will have the freedom to do so. There is so much you can and will achieve. Some Carers choose to work for two weeks or a month and go home to family in the UK or somewhere in Europe. Others work for a 3 month period and then return further afield such as to SA or Australia. Flights are cheap to Europe, long haul a bit more expensive, however, if you book well in advance you will find great deals. The Live in Carer's I have met are hugely diverse and hail from a variety of professional backgrounds but due to age or lack of opportunity can no longer find work in their own country.
