The Table of Contents includes an introduction to this growing interest; The Scope of Miniatures, where your interest lies in terms of recreating a dream, making a miniature reality; Make Your Own Miniatures, which shows that with simple tools and either from scratch or kits, you can make any number of miniature furniture pieces. There is a chapter on Collecting Miniatures, Housing Your Hobby, and a section on Sources which includes organizations to join, periodicals, and books available on the subject; also included are craftspeople who have the materials you are going to need. The last chapter covers Miniatures-Techniques and Inquiries which answers all types of questions and teaches you techniques for decorating a room. 72 pages, beginning to yellow. The blue binding has light wear at the corners and both ends of the spine. There is also light wear at the top front edge. The jacket is worn at each corner and has some chipping at the top, front and back. There is also a 1" tear at the top. About 1/2" of the spine top, and about 1" of the spine bottom is missing from the jacket. There is also a tear in the middle of the spine about 3/4" long. The inside front flap has about 1/4" tear at the top. The tears have been repaired to the extent possible, and a protective cover has been placed over the dust jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. .
