128 pages. BB was the pseudonym of Denys Watkins-Pitchford (a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts). As with his other books he has most beautifully illustrated, in black and white, this story. The general condition of this copy is good. The cover is hardy and strong with very mild wear to the edges. The spine is much sunned. The brown cloth cover is firm, solid. The contents within are near fine: they are clear, comfortable, friendly, sure, secure and pleasurable. fk.

Bound in the publishers chocolate brown boards with gilt title lettering to spine this is the first impression of the first edition of this scarce ' BB ' title. The 127 pages remain in fresh, clean condition with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. Book is sharp cornered and tight. Book sits solid and square. Gilt title lettering to spine is sharp and definite. Housed in the vivid orange and black BB illustrated dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Very light rubbing to head and heel of spine otherwise a very good + example of the distinctive dustwrapper. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. This is BB at his absolute best. A very nice copy throughout and rare in this condition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
