The World of Gordana is an epic high fantasy story written by C. Einstein. Gordana refers to the fictional land in the book which was originally known as Gur'dan. The first published book under the Gordana series is Gordana and the Seven Saviours. And two more books in the trilogy are set to follow, Gordana and the Empire of Kings and the Rise and Fall of Gordana. Both books are set to be completed and published in late 2013 and mid 2014 respectively. In the World of Gordana, as readers will soon find out, Einstein is trying to put in a mixture of mythologies from different regions. In the first book (Gordana and the Seven Saviours), the book's mythology revolved around Western elements. But in the two books to follow, the author will bring in more elements from Asia. It is Einstein's primary aim to promote cultures and different beliefs of the world through fictional works. As someone who grew up listening to stories of legends and myths of Borneo, the author wishes to explore further the beauty and complexity of local stories. A few notable historical notes are the stories of the Empire of Malacca, the dynasty of Genghis Khan and during Japanese occupation of Malaya in 1942. However, as the author is also trying to remain relevant and interesting to the children, the books too come with characters such as talking eagles, wolves and magic - the wonderful element for children's colourful world.
