About the Author Thomas H. Lenhard was born in 1967 in Germany. He has worked as an officer in the Ministry of Finance and studied economics, computer science, logistics and management in Ludwigshafen/Rhine, Saarbruecken and Bratislava. After finishing his studies, Dr. Lenhard worked for several well-known software companies, as chief developer of the data warehouse system of a multinational company and as CIO of a health care company. In addition to his profession, he has taught computer science at the University of Applied Sciences in Ludwigshafen/Rhine and at the University of Saarbruecken from 1996 to 2007. He has worked as a surveyor and consultant for computer technology ever since and is also teaching at the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern and as a guest lecturer at the Comenius University Bratislava. Dr. Lenhard has published and edited several noteworthy studies about solution systems and automised decision making.
